My work is motivated by my deep desire to engage and bring joy to people through creative means. I believe art can be used to communicate in novel ways, and can significantly challenge perspectives and assumptions. I have found that using creativity to connect with people is the most meaningful work I’ve done. I learned this when I was a Haverford College student.
I value play a lot in my work, so my process involves both structured and unstructured experimentation and fun. I’ve found that approaching problems in new, uncharted ways yields more spectacular results.
I’ve always dreamt of designing and building environments and experiences that bring people together in moments of engagement, curiosity, and joy. Whether that’s creating a new kind of makerspace/community gathering place or building props and backdrops for an event, the possibilities are exciting and endless!
My hands! Dexterity and hand-eye coordination cultivated through years of sculpting, tinkering, and making is something invaluable to me.
